Job description

As a Senior Scrum Master , you will be a key leader in our agile transformation journey. You'll be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and guiding multiple development teams within our Wealth and Digital Investment business. Your primary focus will be to help teams deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and psychological safety., * Facilitation & Coaching: Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) and other team-level meetings. Coach teams on Agile principles and practices, ensuring they understand and apply the Scrum framework effectively.

  • Barrier Removal: Proactively identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress. This involves working with various stakeholders, including Product Owners, management, and other teams, to resolve issues swiftly.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with product owners, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters. Ensure alignment and clear communication across the organization.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Utilize and report on key metrics (e.g., velocity, sprint burndown, cycle time) to provide transparency on team performance and progress toward goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, helping teams identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Agile Transformation: Act as a change agent, helping to scale Agile practices within the organization and mentoring less experienced Scrum Masters.
  • Team Development: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting self-organization and accountability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of leading multiple teams.
  • Mandatory experience working within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Specific experience in Wealth Management and/or Digital Investment is highly preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of the Scrum framework and other Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Lean).
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
  • Certifications:
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent) is required.
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., A-CSM, PSM II) are a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others effectively.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
