Integration & Test Engineers

We are seeking talented Integration & Test Engineers with a strong background in Infrastructure Engineering to join our expanding team in Gloucester. You will play a key role in integrating, testing, and maintaining high-performance, secure systems across a range of platforms. This role requires; DV Clearance and candidates will need to go through security checks if they dont already hold this level.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute software integration and test plans to meet defined specifications.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to improve delivery speed and consistency.
• Use infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible to support scalable and efficient deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across full system stacks, focusing on performance and reliability.
• Integrate large-scale solutions across hybrid cloud environments.
• Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary Agile teams using modern DevSecOps approaches.

• Proven experience in test and integration engineering within Agile or Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux systems and DevSecOps principles.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab), and collaboration platforms such as Jira and Confluence.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Ability to analyze and report test results, identifying performance trends and anomalies.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining test environments, including Blue/Green deployment strategies.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Foundation or Certified Agile Tester are advantageous.

Desired Skills

• Practical experience deploying and managing services in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda, IAM, S3).
• Experience automating integration tasks using the AWS SDK (Boto3).
• Understanding of hybrid-cloud deployments and use of CloudTrail for debugging and diagnostics.
• Experience developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for large-scale cloud environments.
