Job description
We're looking for a WordPress Developer with experience building and maintaining plugins, apps, and custom booking journeys. You'll be joining a growing tech team that's shaping the future of digital products within the leisure and hospitality sector - creating seamless, high-performing solutions that enhance the customer experience.
This is a hands-on development role where you'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver new functionality, optimise user flows, and ensure the platform runs smoothly across web and mobile.
What You'll Do
- Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress plugins and themes
- Design and optimise booking journeys to improve user experience and conversion
- Integrate third-party APIs and internal systems into the platform
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing app and plugin functionality
- Work closely with the wider team to deliver high-quality, scalable code
- Contribute to UX discussions and help shape the digital product roadmap
Requirements
Do you have experience in iOS development?, * 3+ years' experience in WordPress development
- Strong understanding of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience developing and maintaining custom plugins and integrations
- Familiarity with REST APIs and modern front-end frameworks (React/Vue is a bonus)
- Proven experience improving or building booking journeys or e-commerce flows
- Understanding of version control (Git) and deployment workflows
Nice to Have
- Experience with mobile app integrations or PWA development
- Knowledge of performance optimisation and SEO best practices
- Familiarity with cloud hosting environments (AWS, GCP, etc.), * Developer: 3 years (required)
