We are committed to continuing to develop a positive, open and honest working environment for all., We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own and enhance our hybrid cloud and on-premises environment. You will manage, secure and evolve our Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms, drive automation through Terraform and HELM, and oversee the reliability and performance of our FortiGate and Unifi network estate. The role requires technical leadership, hands-on delivery, and a passion for continual improvement, balancing innovation with operational stability and security., * Acting as a technical lead on infrastructure projects and operational initiatives.

  • Maintain and optimise Azure Cloud services with focus on scalability, security, governance, and cost control.
  • Managing Microsoft 365, Intune and Defender Suite (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud) ensuring compliance, patching and security posture.
  • Supporting and enhancing hybrid infrastructure including Windows Server, virtualisation, storage, and on-premises components.
  • Administer and harden FortiGate firewalls and Unifi switching; ensure resilient connectivity and secure configuration.
  • Implementing infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines using Terraform and HELM.
  • Configuring and tune monitoring and alerting via Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel, New Relic and related tools.
  • Driving backup, disaster recovery and high-availability strategies across critical workloads.
  • Provide authoritative technical guidance to Service Operations, Cyber Security and wider Technology stakeholders.
  • Leading incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and proactive remediation.
  • Liaising with third-party partners and vendors to ensure reliable and secure service delivery.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, confident, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communicator who can collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Extensive experience in a technical support or infrastructure engineering role.
  • Expert understanding of Azure IaaS/PaaS, networking, identity and governance models.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, Conditional Access, Autopilot.
  • Proven experience with Terraform and HELM for automated deployment.
  • Skilled in FortiGate firewalls, Unifi networking, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
  • Solid grasp of Windows Server (2016+), Linux
  • Understanding of virtualisation and containerisation technologies.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging platforms (Sentinel, New Relic, Kibana, etc.).
  • Experience of administrating GCP.
  • Strong knowledge with Aure Kubernetes.
  • Industry certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-305, CCNA, or equivalent desirable.
