Windows Engineer

Vertex IT Solutions is continuing to support one of its Financial Services customers in London. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a small engineering team supporting a Global platform. The ideal person will have extensive experience working across large-scale complex environments. Strong Windows Server experience, MS technologies & Infrastructure automation., ·Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Windows engineering role ·Preferably from a financial services background or large corporate environment ·Strong knowledge of MS Technologies ·Expert automation tasks with Powershell, VB Script or anything similar tools ·Strong experience with VMware ·Extensive experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible, Puppet, Chef (or similar tools) ·Good general knowledge and familiarity with networking concepts and technologies ·Experience with Cloud / AWS would be beneficial
