An exciting opportunity is open within Gallagher's Commercial team for an experienced Offshore Governance Manager. This is a high-impact role that sits within the UK Commercial function, encompassing Procurement, Supplier Management, Offshoring, Facilities, and Real Estate.
As the Offshore Governance Manager, you will play a key role in managing strategic relationships between Gallagher's UK trading divisions and our Operations Centre in India. You'll also oversee intra-group agreements and governance frameworks that underpin our ambitious growth and transformation agenda.
This is a high-impact position that directly supports Gallagher's strategic objectives. You'll provide senior stakeholders with critical insights into service performance, risk management, and commercial value-enabling informed decision-making and driving operational excellence across the business.
How you'll make an impact
- Strategic Governance & Oversight: Lead governance processes for UK-to-India transitions, oversee intra-group agreements, and advise senior stakeholders on offshore operations.
- Operational Excellence: Develop governance controls, monitor supplier performance, and produce MI to support executive decision-making.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify and mitigate outsourcing risks while ensuring compliance with UK and India regulations.
- Integration & Transformation: Support the integration of newly acquired businesses and oversee new offshore activities with clear scope and controls.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across the business and act as secretariat for governance meetings.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management?, Proven track record in offshore governance and supplier oversight within financial services.
- Experience managing intra-group service agreements and outsourced operations and contract negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of outsourcing regulations and FCA guidelines.
- Strong understanding of project management and governance frameworks.
- Skilled in producing detailed MI and executive-level reporting
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for impactful presentations and reporting.
- Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
- Proactive and improvement-focused-always looking to enhance processes.
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and able to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Hybrid working model (2-3 days per week in office).
- Occasional international travel required.
