Do you have experience in Virtualization?, Do you have a Master's degree?, We are seeking an outstanding individual who is passionate about their discipline, to make an, academic contribution in the subject area of Cyber Security., The Cyber Security and Computer Networks Subject Group currently consists of 15 academics, who are active in both teaching and research. Courses which are delivered by the group include:

The UG degrees in the portfolio have a common first year, and specialisms are introduced from the second year onwards. In the Cyber Security degree, strong working knowledge is required in the areas of Ethical Hacking, Network Intrusion Detection systems, and Computer Networks Security. In the final year, the specialist modules encompass Advanced Penetration Testing and Information Security Management, Blockchain and IoT, and Virtualisation technology solutions such as Software Defined Networks. Areas such as Incident Handling and Hacking Techniques, Cyber Threat Intelligence and Digital Forensics, and Information Security Management particularly in relation to the ISO 27001 standard are also valuable to the group.
