Job description

On behalf of DWP, we are looking for a Test Engineer for a 12 Month (Inside IR35) contract based Hybrid in Newcastle. Join the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) as a Test Engineer supporting the Later Life Calc and Pay team, part of a major transformation programme across State Pension and Pension Credit services. This role contributes to the development of a new digital portal, enabling citizens to claim Pension Credit online with ease and accuracy., * Design and execute manual and automated tests to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Collaborate within agile, multi-disciplinary teams to support iterative development.
Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify test scenarios, and ensure alignment across delivery teams.
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Contribute to the migration of legacy systems to modern infrastructure.
