IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security Engineer

Chemring Energetics UK is a global business providing a range of equipment based on energetic materials for defence, civil defence and key commercial customers. Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for cyber security, cloud technologies and robust infrastructure? We're looking for an IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security Engineer to keep our systems secure, resilient and efficient, supporting critical operations at our Ardeer site. Reporting to the IT Manager, you'll provide advanced 2nd/3rd line technical and cyber security support, maintain and develop our IT infrastructure and cloud services, and mentor colleagues on new technologies. DOCUMENTATION & KNOWLEDGE SHARING

• Develop and keep policies, processes, and procedures up to date
• Create and update troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles to support the wider team
• Mentor and guide colleagues on new technologies and best practices

It Security, Network Infrastructure, 3Rd Line Support, Cloud Services, Mentoring, Sharepoint, Documentation, It Infrastructure, Cyber Security, * Solid background in IT infrastructure, cloud services and cyber security - either through relevant qualifications or extensive hands-on experience

• Proven track record in delivering effective 2nd and 3rd line support
• Strong technical expertise across IT security, Microsoft 365, VMware, Power Apps, SharePoint, and network infrastructure
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to keep systems running smoothly
• Confident communicator with a talent for mentoring and knowledge sharing
• A collaborative team player who thrives in dynamic environments
