Job description
A leading global financial institution is seeking experienced .NET Developers to join their London-based team. You will contribute to critical projects within Capital Markets and Risk Management, developing and enhancing enterprise-grade applications., Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework.
- Build scalable solutions leveraging MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Develop and support Windows desktop applications (WinForms, WPF) connected to large on-premise databases.
- Write and optimize complex SQL Server queries.
- Apply OOP principles and design patterns to deliver high-quality software.
- Collaborate across business and IT teams through all SDLC phases.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD using Git.
- Work with both legacy and modern systems.
Requirements
8-10 years' experience in professional software development.
- Expertise in C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework, SQL Server.
- Proven experience with WinForms, WPF, and large database environments.
- Strong understanding of MVC, REST APIs, OOP, and design patterns.
- Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
