Job description
We're looking for a Senior PHP Laravel Developer who thrives on clean, scalable code and loves turning big ideas into powerful, user-friendly features. You'll play a key role in shaping our SaaS platform - leading development across new modules, maintaining robust performance, and helping ensure a seamless experience for our 1M+ users.
You'll be joining a passionate, close-knit product and engineering team working on a modern Laravel + Vue stack with AWS infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role, but also one where your voice matters - you'll help guide architecture, mentor others, and influence the direction of the product.
What You'll Do
- Lead development of new features and user interfaces from well-defined user stories.
- Write clean, readable, testable code (and help others do the same).
- Optimise application performance and maintain top-tier reliability.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver elegant, well-architected solutions.
- Implement automated unit and integration tests to ensure rock-solid releases.
- Review pull requests, uphold coding standards, and guide best practices.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve complex production issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure improvements.
- Support data migrations and integrations for new customer onboarding.
- Help shape technical documentation and internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Vue.js?, * Expert knowledge of Laravel / PHP and RESTful API development.
- Solid experience with AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps pipelines.
- Strong grasp of application architecture patterns and scalable design.
- Confident working with Git, automated testing, and JSON data structures.
- Experience with mobile app integrations (Ionic knowledge a plus).
- Great debugging and profiling skills - you don't just fix, you improve.
- Comfortable mentoring others and contributing to an Agile workflow.
- Passionate about clean code, strong documentation, and continuous improvement.
Bonus Points For
- Familiarity with Ionic, Inertia.js, or Vue.js.
- Experience with push notifications or real-time app features.
- Previous work in a SaaS or recruitment tech environment.
