Job description
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Oracle Enterprise Applications Application Database Administrator to join our technology operations team. In this role, you will assist in managing and maintaining Oracle databases and applications such as E-Business Suite, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, and Weblogic. You will gain hands-on experience in capacity planning, backup and recovery, security enforcement, and patch management. Guided by senior DBAs, you will learn about online patching, cloning techniques, and performance troubleshooting across application and database layers. You will also help with migrations, load balancing, and cluster management to support highly available infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in enterprise-scale Oracle systems while contributing to mission-critical operations.
Responsibilities

Assist in managing Oracle databases and applications including EBS, Peoplesoft, and Weblogic.

Support backup and recovery activities using RMAN.

Help apply security patches and updates.

Participate in migrations and cloning exercises.

Assist in monitoring system performance and availability.
Requirements

Installation and Upgrade experience of EBS (R12.2) and Database (11g & 19c) on AIX
-
Expert knowledge of EBS 12.2 Online patching and Cloning techniques

Expert knowledge of RMAN and Oracle DataGuard

Extensive experience in managing and implementing best practice configuration management techniques for

Enterprise EBS Systems

Experience in troubleshooting performance issues at the Application and Database layers. Experience of WebLogic SOA & Endeca.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn infrastructure best practices.

Ability to follow structured operational procedures.
