Job description

The enterprise engineering team at xAI is responsible for all our business-focused products such as the API, Grok for Teams, and enterprise-grade auth solutions such as Single Sign-On (SSO). We are a fully integrated team that builds products from the ground up with roles spanning from UX designer to reliability engineering., In this role, you work on our code execution sandbox, which is a critical component of our production systems and our training infrastructure. The work is highly technical as we need to maintain rigid security standards while allowing our users to rapidly iterate without sacrificing reliability.   • Familiarity with Python
  • Solid understanding of Linux; knowledge of other operating system is a plus
  • Familiarity with virtualization techniques and implementations
  • Good knowledge of network stack

Interview process

After submitting your application, the team reviews your CV and statement of exceptional work. If your application passes this stage, you will be invited to a 15 minute interview ("phone interview") during which a member of our team will ask some basic technical questions. If you clear the initial phone interview, you will enter the main process, which consists of at least two technical interviews:

  1. Coding interview in Rust or C++.
  2. Distributed systems design interview.
