Job description
We have a new opportunity in AXA UK for a Service Asset and Configuration Analyst to join our Service Design and Introduction team.
Reporting into the Service Asset and Configuration Manager, you'll be responsible for the monitoring and management of all IT assets, ensuring compliance, lifecycle management and auditing of hardware, software and licenses. You'll ensure the effective use of the Service Asset and Configuration management process contributing to process design and improvement guidance.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you'll be doing:
- Responsibility for ensuring all hardware items are tracked and managed effectively
- Assisting with day-to-day IT asset management
- Collaborating with third-party suppliers to coordinate procurement processes and oversee the financial management of software and hardware assets throughout their lifecycle
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained through regular audits of the UK estate to identify gaps and initiate appropriate remedial action
- Contributing to processes, procedures, and controls to support service asset and configuration management activity
- Identifying and driving service improvements through to completion, through proactive customer liaison and monitoring
- Performing and supporting appropriate data cleanse activities within the software license management and asset management toolsets
- Acting in an advisory capacity for IT and the wider business on software related matters
Requirements
Do you have experience in ServiceNow?, * Proven experience in Service Asset and Configuration management including licensing
- Experience working with a configuration management database
- Good understanding of ServiceNow
- Reporting and analytical skills including the use of Power BI
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of IT industry and best practices
- ITIL certification desirable
