Job description

We're bringing all system development work in-house and need an experienced Senior Developer to take over from our external agency. You'll be responsible for maintaining, improving, and developing all internal systems - including our CRM platform, multiple websites, and our bespoke portal system.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing the full migration process from our external agency to an in-house setup, taking full technical ownership of all current systems and ensuring a smooth transition., * Take over all development and maintenance from the current external agency.

  • Manage the full migration of systems, hosting, and codebases from external to in-house.
  • Maintain and develop the CRM system (Legacy Laravel + Vue2 + Bootstrap + MySQL).
  • Manage and update all company websites, including WordPress and Laravel-based sites.
  • Maintain and develop our Bespoke Portal System (Modern Laravel + Livewire + Tailwind + MySQL).
  • Oversee and maintain all APIs and integrations:
  • Stripe / Barclaycard / Barclaycard MOTO
  • Mailgun API
  • getAddress.io API
  • Oversee hosting migration (currently hosted on Plesk) to a suitable internal environment.
  • Handle troubleshooting, updates, and ongoing improvements.
  • Work with internal teams to deliver automation and efficiency projects.
  • Manage version control, documentation, and backups.
  • Lead and mentor a Junior Developer once appointed.

Requirements

Do you have experience in WordPress?, * Strong experience in Laravel (legacy and modern)

  • Skilled in Vue.js (Vue2), Bootstrap, Tailwind, and Livewire
  • Strong PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS knowledge
  • Confident managing and migrating hosting environments (Plesk or similar)
  • Experience with WordPress development
  • Familiarity with payment gateways and APIs (Stripe, Barclaycard, Mailgun, getAddress.io)
  • Good understanding of system integration, data flow, and automation
  • Able to work independently and handle full ownership of technical projects
