Job description

We're looking for a talented and forward-thinking Internal IT Developer to join our IT team in a newly created role focused on developing internal web applications and tools that support every department across the business. This is a chance to lead exciting new projects from the ground up, starting with a custom CMS and a Sales Order Processing app for our Digital team.

You'll be instrumental in shaping how we build and deliver internal solutions, working closely with senior stakeholders and the IT team to create tools that drive efficiency, automation, and growth., * Lead development of new internal web apps, starting with a CMS and SOP tool.

  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to shape project requirements and delivery plans.
  • Take ownership of internal development projects, from concept to deployment.
  • Work closely with the IT team and occasionally with our Automation team to align internal tools with broader digital strategies.
  • Explore and implement new technologies, frameworks, and low-code platforms to accelerate delivery.
  • Help define internal development standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our internal systems and help scale the internal dev function as the company grows.

Requirements

Do you have experience in JavaScript?, We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in full-stack development, ideally with:

  • 3+ years of experience (or equivalent academic/project experience for graduates) across a range of technologies, including:

  • C# (.NET Framework / .NET Core) - for building robust server-side logic and APIs

  • JavaScript / TypeScript - for dynamic client-side functionality

  • HTML / CSS - for creating clean, responsive user interfaces

  • React and/or Angular 2+ - for modern front-end development

  • Experience with SQL Server, including writing and optimizing SQL queries

  • Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating systems and services

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and test-driven development (TDD)

  • Experience with Git and modern development workflows (e.g., branching strategies, pull requests, CI/CD)

  • Exposure to low-code platforms or a willingness to explore them as part of our internal tooling strategy

  • Ability to work across the stack - from designing database schemas to building intuitive UIs and everything in between
