You'll combine deep technical expertise in Python and FastAPI with strong architectural thinking to create robust, secure, and performant APIs that scale to millions of users. Working closely with front-end, mobile, and cloud engineers, you will define API standards, optimize data flows, and ensure operational excellence across environments., * Design, implement, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Architect scalable and maintainable backend systems, ensuring fault tolerance, horizontal scalability, and low latency.
- Apply asynchronous programming techniques (async/await) and leverage Pydantic for request/response validation.
- Define and enforce API design standards, versioning, and consistent documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
- Integrate and manage third-party APIs, ensuring compliance with security and rate-limiting constraints.
- Implement OIDC/OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication and authorization flows.
- Collaborate with mobile, frontend, and DevOps teams to optimize end-to-end system performance and deployment pipelines.
- Leverage AWS services - ECS, ECR, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, ElastiCache, and DynamoDB to build reliable and cloud-native architectures.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests with Pytest, and maintain high code quality and coverage.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation and ensure best practices for release management and observability.

- Deep understanding of RESTful API architecture, HTTP protocols, and distributed systems design.
- Hands-on experience with OIDC/OAuth 2.0 authentication flows.
- Strong knowledge of API gateway concepts, interservice communication, and load balancing.
- Proficiency with AWS (ECS, ECR, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, DynamoDB, ElastiCache).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Solid grasp of containerization (Docker) and microservice deployment best practices.
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills and able to partner effectively with product and engineering teams.
