This opening has the potential to be a high profile role with extensive interaction with business and technology stakeholders, so would suit individuals who thrive in those environments.

  • View stakeholder interaction as integral to successful delivery
  • Continuous improvement of production components such as reducing tech debt, increasing release quality, and improving resource utilization

  • Support for production systems and BAU requests

Requirements

  • Python development with strong understanding of data structures
  • Familiarity with Linux environments
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages
  • Ability to balance business delivery and incremental adoption of new architectural platform features
  • Proponent of collaborative software engineering techniques and methods
  • Confident communicator - able to argue a point concisely and deal positively with conflicting views
  • Comfortable liaising with business partners (Risk Managers) as well as understanding and working with complex technological solutions

Advantageous

  • Ability to work effectively alongside Generative AI tools
  • Familiarity with database technologies (MSSQL, Mongo, Oracle)
  • Experience with scheduling systems like Airflow
  • Familiarity with C#/.NET
