Job description
In this pivotal role, you will drive initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, scalability, and performance, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant site operations., * Develop and maintain scalable and efficient reliability processes for equipment and utilities.
- Implement monitoring tools and lead incident response to ensure system uptime and optimal performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures using tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams.
- Design and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve asset longevity.
- Analyse equipment performance data to identify trends and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Provide on-the-job maintenance training to technicians across maintenance and production teams.
- Collaborate with HSE, QA, Biosafety, and Production teams to ensure seamless operational integration.
- Supervise specialist contractors on-site to resolve complex technical issues and enhance reliability.
- Automate manual processes to improve system efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Lead and participate in deviation investigations and manage CAPA follow-up for recurring issues.
- Partner with the maintenance stores team to ensure appropriate stock levels of critical parts.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Maintenance?, * Time-served in a maintenance or engineering role at a senior level.
- Experience within a pharmaceutical, GMP, or high-containment environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Cross-functional mechanical and electrical skill set preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an emphasis on system performance improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Formal education in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional qualification.
