The candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality delivery of projects. You will work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure that all software solutions meet functional, performance, and security standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Redmine.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure the timely resolution of defects.
- Support automated testing initiatives using tools such as Selenium, QTP/UFT, or TestComplete.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes, tools, and overall software quality.
- Prepare detailed test reports and provide recommendations for product improvements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Waterfall?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manual and automated software testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps environments.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, JIRA, Postman, TestNG, or similar.
- Understanding of SQL and database testing (MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation purposes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
