Job description

· Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure using SQL (on-prem & Azure), NoSQL (Azure Cosmos DB), Azure Synapse, Spark/Parquet, Power BI, and Fabric.

· Manage and evolve data warehouses to support BI and analytics systems.

· Develop and optimise data pipelines for data flows and integration, ensuring data quality, accuracy and efficiency.

· Build on and add to the current Power BI reports / dashboards.

· Collaborate with infrastructure, software development, SharePoint, BI, and reporting teams.

· Educate and mentor colleagues on data engineering and SQL concepts.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Time management?, Are you passionate about data? We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team, bringing expertise in technologies like SQL databases (on premise & Azure), NoSQL (such as Azure Cosmos DB), Azure Synapse (& Spark / Parquet files) & Power BI / Fabric, with experience in PySpark and Jupyter notebooks highly beneficial., · Proven data engineering skills.

· Strong knowledge of Synapse (or Fabric), SQL, ETL processes, Data Lakes, Parquet, PySpark, Jupyter notebooks, and cloud platforms (i.e. Azure).

· Ability to optimise performance and ensure scalability, security, and data quality.

· Skilled in cross-system data integration and transformation.

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
