Job description

This is a hands-on, full-lifecycle development role. You'll design, build, test, and deploy Android applications used by a wide variety of clients, ensuring performance and stability across devices and versions. You'll contribute to new feature development, improve existing functionality, and play a part in defining mobile standards and best practices within the team.

Requirements

  • Solid commercial experience developing Android apps using Kotlin and Java
  • Strong understanding of RESTful Web Services and API integration
  • Skilled in Google Play deployment, release management, and version control (Git)
  • Knowledge of Android SDK, Material Design, and mobile UI/UX best practices
  • Experience with unit testing, instrumentation testing, and debugging tools
  • Familiarity with offline data handling, push notifications, and background services
  • Advantageous: exposure to mobile/web app interoperability or hybrid frameworks
  • Approx. 4 years' experience in commercial Android development
