Job description
This role will see you take ownership of designing, implementing, and optimising a modern Azure platform - with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and scalability. It's an excellent opportunity for an experienced Azure specialist who enjoys both hands-on engineering and technical problem-solving., * Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure for production environments.
- Automate deployment and onboarding processes using infrastructure-as-code.
- Implement observability tools and performance monitoring to maintain uptime and reliability.
- Lead on platform improvements, incorporating new Azure technologies and architectural patterns.
- Support the continuous evolution of the environment through automation and modernisation initiatives.

Requirements
- Strong commercial experience working with Microsoft Azure, including computer networking, identity, and security.
- Skilled in infrastructure-as-code, ideally using Terraform, Azure Bicep, Ansible, or ARM templates.
- Proven ability to design and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Competence in scripting or programming with Python, PowerShell, Go, or C#.
- Knowledge of cloud compliance frameworks such as ISO27001 and GDPR.
- Understanding of site reliability principles, observability, and monitoring best practice.
