Job description

We are seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join a leading medical technology business specialising in patient-specific solutions for complex surgical procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work on life-changing projects that combine advanced engineering with cutting-edge manufacturing techniques., * Collaborate with clinical teams to understand patient-specific requirements.

  • Create accurate 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
  • Ensure all designs meet ISO 13485 and internal quality standards.
  • Optimise designs for additive manufacturing and traditional machining processes.
  • Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Training & Development

  • Comprehensive onboarding program, including hands-on training at a European production facility.
  • Exposure to advanced design guidelines, manufacturing processes, and quality control systems.
  • Ongoing professional development and mentorship from experienced engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in medical device design and patient-specific solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to critical deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX) is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
