Lead Backend Engineer

• Write clean code in Typescript using NextJS as the framework.
• Architect database schemas for PostgreSQL database to efficiently store large amounts of data.
• Be involved in conversations surrounding product and strategy.
• A solid understanding of security, scalability, and efficiency for backend infrastructure.
• Understanding of REST API's.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub (pull requests, branches, commits...).

• Leadership experience, leading a team of 3+ engineers
• Backend experience using NestJS: 4 years+
• PostgreSQL: 4 years+
• Typescript: 3 years+
• Google Cloud Run, Google Cloud SQL, GCP: 2 years+
• Direct work experience with Product Managers/UX Designers
