Job description

  1. Responsible for overall Cloud technology management for the business.
  2. Responsible for planning and execution of new technology roll outs, scope expansion and readiness of team from technology standpoint.
  3. Manage SOPs, Knowledge documents, KB articles. Implement technical methodology improvement from past failures and learnings

  1. 4+ years Management experience leading a mid-sized team
  2. 12+ years of overall work experience in the area of IT infrastructure Managed Services
  3. Experience in Red Hat, Ubuntu and SUSE Linux OS internals.
  4. Experience in Kubernetes life cycle management, Capacity Management and Cluster Administration.
  5. Good understanding of Unix fundamentals, storage, networking and load balancing.
  6. Solid understanding and expertise of Linux operating system, including the automated installation, jumpstart, kickstart configuration, etc.
  7. Familiarity with modifying and using Shell scripts for automating day to day operational tasks.
  8. Experience supporting Docker containers, Xen/KVM in a high availability environment highly desirable.
  9. Strong knowledge on administering Microsoft Azure.
  10. Ability to interface/support customers during the development/pre-production integration testing.
  11. Working with configuration management tools (Chef or Ansible or terraform)
  12. Strong technical/analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  13. Must have Strong Knowledge and experience in system monitoring techniques and tools supporting unattended operations.
  14. Strong system security awareness and knowledge in OS hardening.
