Job description

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Python-based pricing and risk tools for energy markets
  • Implement risk methodologies for exotic options in NBP and GB power markets
  • Calibrate quantitative models for structured deals, renewables, and batteries

Requirements

Python, Data Structures, Gas, Time Series Analysis, Statistics, Probability, Quantitative Models, Power Markets, Risk Models, Databases, Energy Markets, * Proficient in Python with a strong background in probability, statistics, and numerical methods

  • Knowledgeable in data structures, databases (SQL/noSQL), and cloud/deployment tools
  • Familiar with energy markets (power, gas, renewables) and UK energy market dynamics
  • Experienced in derivatives pricing, risk models, or time series analysis
