Job description
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to develop our Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) data and systems. Their duties will include:

Maintain, update and develop our pensions administration software (inc. process maps and workflows)

Testing and delivering software updates/upgrades alongside our software supplier

Preparing data extracts and statistics, processing bulk returns (annual returns, etc)

Helping to deliver annual projects (applying pension increase, producing annual benefit statements, etc)

Requirements
Good communication skills, Any essential qualifications, experience and skills you are looking for in your successful candidate - You can include desirable requirements too but make it clear between what is essential and what is desirable., * You will have a mininimum of 2 years of administering the Local Government Pension Scheme (or equivalent Defined Benefit Pension Scheme) and relevant legislation/regulations.
- You will have experience maintaining a pensions administration system (Civica UPM or equivalent).
- You should be able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies and errors in numerical information.
- You should also be able to evidence your ability to prioritise your workload and work to deadlines
- You should be someone who can thrive by working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- You will be expected to train and mentor junior team mdembers.
- Experience of SQL to interrogate the database would be an advantage, but not essential.
