Job description

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our database systems, ensuring high availability and performance. You will play a crucial role in database design, implementation, and optimisation., * Manage and update the company website and e-commerce platform, including product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing.

  • Develop and publish content for company social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), ensuring engagement with target communities.
  • Administer internal databases relating to inventory, suppliers, and sales analytics; monitor data accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate regular reports on online sales, customer engagement, and digital marketing performance.
  • Ensure website functionality, liaising with external IT providers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Monitor data security, backups, and system performance to protect business and customer information.
  • Research and recommend new digital tools, content strategies, and online marketing approaches to grow the business.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Performance tuning?, * Proven experience in database administration with a strong understanding of MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and related technologies.

  • Familiarity with high availability solutions and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Experience in database design principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning techniques for optimising query execution.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems is advantageous.
