Job description
They're now looking to add one more A-Player to their Engineering team, a Lead Software Engineer with a strong front end and who's also comfortable getting hands-on with Node.js on the backend when needed. What You'll Be Working With:
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- React
- Node.js (backend services)

- Collaborating with design and product teams to transform ideas into elegant, scalable UI components
- Getting stuck into a mix of greenfield builds and proof-of-concept work. Meaning plenty of variety and room for creative, design-led thinking.
- Contributing to backend services using Node.js in a serverless AWS architecture
- Owning features end-to-end and shipping production-ready code
- Working as part of a tight-knit engineering team that values clean code, best practices, and continuous learning
Requirements
- 5-7+ years' experience in software engineering, with a frontend focus
- Strong track record of building commercial projects and modern, responsive user interfaces with React
- Proven ability to contribute across the stack (Node.js backend, API integration)
- Strong experience working with AWS, particularly serverless environments
- Experience collaborating with UX/UI and Design teams to bring polished, thoughtful features to life
Benefits & conditions
- £90K salary
- Fully remote (UK-based)
- 7% employer pension contribution
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + your birthday off
- Option to take 2 additional weeks unpaid leave
