- Delivering and maintaining reliable ICT systems including networks, servers, wireless access, and end-user devices.
- Diagnosing and resolving ICT faults across hardware and software.
- Installing, configuring, and upgrading devices and systems.
- Providing responsive, customer-focused support to staff and students.
- Monitoring system performance and implementing preventative maintenance.
- Supporting procurement and maintaining ICT documentation.
- Supervising junior technicians (where applicable).
This is a hands-on, support-focused role ideal for someone with solid experience in ICT within an educational setting. The postholder may also be required to support other schools in the area during periods of high demand or staff absence.
Please note: Annual leave requests for this role will be required to be taken during the schools holiday periods.

We are seeking a Senior Schools Support Technician to take ownership of the ICT infrastructure and support service predominately at Bishop Justice secondary school in Bromley, but may include other schools across the trust. In this key role, you will manage day-to-day technical operations, provide expert support to staff and students, and ensure systems are secure, efficient, and fit for purpose. If you have experience in school ICT support, are confident with network troubleshooting, and enjoy working with people and technology, we want to hear from you., * Experience managing ICT systems in schools or a similar environment.
- Confidence supporting Windows, Microsoft Office, hardware (e.g. PCs, printers, interactive whiteboards), and mobile devices (iOS/macOS).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage workloads and support others.
- Commitment to excellent customer service and continual development.
A Level 3 qualification in ICT and knowledge of school MIS systems, Windows Server, or ITIL best practices would be an advantage.
