Job description

Party Peeps runs unforgettable children's parties and live events across the South West. We're proudly creative, friendly, and full of energy and we're now ready to scale.

Over the next three years, we're turning Party Peeps into a business that can grow smoothly and sustainably without everything needing the founder's constant involvement.

To do that, we need someone who genuinely enjoys making things run smoothly; a builder, not just a manager.

The Role

You'll work closely with the founder to build the Party Peeps Operations Playbook: the systems, workflows, scheduling procedures, team communication rhythms, and performance tracking tools that make the business run cleanly and consistently.

This role is both hands-on and organisational. You'll be turning messy processes into documented systems, and helping the team work together more effectively day-to-day.

This is a role for someone who gets satisfaction from seeing a business become clearer, calmer, and more efficient, and who wants to grow into a COO role as the company scales.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Turning our current processes into clear, repeatable systems

  • Building simple automations and digital tools to reduce manual work

  • Coordinating our operational schedule and freelancers

  • Ensuring events, supplies, communications, and customer touchpoints run smoothly

  • Organising the workflow between delivery, office, logistics, and marketing

  • Tracking performance and using data to guide improvements

  • Bringing recommendations to the founder and helping implement the decisions

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Experience running or systemising operations in a small business or SME

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills

  • Comfortable with tools like ClickUp/Asana, Google Workspace, and basic automation

  • A builder's mindset - you enjoy creating clarity from chaos

  • Commercial thinking (budgets, margins, scheduling efficiency)

  • Calm, reliable communication

  • Energised by the idea of building something lasting

This is not a "step back and supervise" job. This is a hands-on role where you build and improve systems in real time.
