Job description

Adecco is seeking a creative Software Developer for a client in Stockport. This role is central to supporting the client's growth plans across their group companies. The position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse technology base, allowing the developer to apply both breadth and depth of technical knowledge while continuously learning. The successful candidate will join a close-knit team of IT professionals, contributing to the development and maintenance of bespoke software applications., * Interpret business requirements and technical specification documents to develop software

  • Write, modify, and debug software systems using source debuggers and visual development environments
  • Test and document software prior to deployment to ensure functionality
  • Perform maintenance programming and correct identified defects in software
  • Assist with training and monitoring new and existing staff members

Requirements

  • Significant experience in programming and coding bespoke software applications
  • Proficiency in C#, MVC, ASP.NET, XML, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and Microsoft Entity Framework
  • Experience with SQL Server 2000+ and knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio 2 012+ for software development
  • Ability to qualify user requirements to inform software development specifications
