Job description

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Designer Support Specialist to join our IT team. This role focuses on creating, maintaining, and supporting SharePoint sites, workflows to optimise business processes and user support for SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Online and Microsoft B2B. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in SharePoint design, experience in troubleshooting issues, and a solid understanding of user experience principles. SharePoint related responsibilities include site construction, permissions, user requests, and incident resolution. Other responsibilities include managing user onboarding, access and offboarding processes via internal tools., * Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, subsites, and workflows.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create customised SharePoint solutions.
  • Provide technical support for applications resolving incidents, issues, and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Enterprise IT team to align SharePoint strategy, structure and governance with organisation objectives
  • Work closely with IT infrastructure teams to resolve network, server, or hardware issues affecting application performance.
  • Develop SharePoint pages using SharePoint Designer and other tools.
  • Create training materials and provide training to users on SharePoint functionalities.
  • Use Share Gate for data migration operations and site migrations

Requirements

This role is instrumental in bringing the value of the SharePoint platform and customer success to the programs funding the position. The candidate must be able to research, design, develop, and/or modify the SharePoint related solutions., * Demonstrable experience in SharePoint design, development and support

  • Proficiency in InfoPath, 2019 Workflows, and Power Platform support and creation experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in troubleshooting SharePoint issues.
  • Experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, SaaS, and hybrid environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience collaborating with IT teams on strategy, structure, and governance is a plus.

Due to the nature of our projects, you must be Sole UK National for this clearance type.
