Senior Backend Developer / C# / Leeds / Internal platforms

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer in Leeds to join one of our most established client teams, and help build and maintain their internal platforms. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our software applications and products by developing and implementing backend solutions. The ideal candidate should have 5-6 years of work experience and be proficient in C#, Azure, and Kubernetes.

• Develop and implement backend solutions for our internal platforms using C#, Azure, and ideally knowledge around Kubernetes.
• Create and maintain robust, secure, and efficient code.
• Develop technical specifications and write well-designed, testable code.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship new features.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Provide technical direction to other developers on the team.
• Provide technical support to other departments.
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality.

• 5-6 years of experience developing backend solutions.
• Proficient in C#, Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Knowledge of database design and development.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
