Job description
Fully remote. (must be able to collect work from home kit from Welwyn Garden City, and drop off again at the end of the Project), * Partner with operational and clinical systems to define KPI logic, thresholds and data refresh cadence.
- Build clean semantic models, DAX measures and accessible dashboards in Power BI, underpinned by performant SQL (views/stored procedures).
- Establish repeatable standards for definitions, documentation, and visual design; automate refresh and publish to the Trust's BI service.
- Iterate quickly during mobilisation sprints, landing MVP dashboards early and evolving them to "production-ready" quality.
- Support adoption: brief pack owners, create short "how to use" guides, and enable self-service where appropriate.
What you'll bring
- Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI (Power Query, data modelling, DAX ideally) and SQL (query optimisation, joins, window functions).
- Experience translating business questions into reliable, auditable metrics
- Pragmatic delivery mindset: you can prioritise, communicate trade-offs, and hit milestones during a time-boxed mobilisation.
- An eye for usability and accessibility in dashboard design.

Benefits & conditions
Pay: £29.10/hr + 25 days per year pro rata paid for holiday (worth another £3.52/hr ) The role is PAYE so you don't have to pay any Employer's NI (worth~£5.50/hr) ==>£38.12/hr (Plus 10% pension after 3 months service)
Hours are 9am to 5pm (some flexibility)
