We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Oracle Data Migration Architect with Integration skills to work within a team of highly skilled consultants and positively drive and enable our deliveries. Oracle's aggressive Cloud strategy and growth means that several new PaaS capabilities are now available which are creating a breadth of new opportunities with our clients to take their current IT Systems to the Digital & Cloud market. API Management, Cloud-based integration, Microservices and Modern Application Frameworks all are at the heart of this digital transformation revolution and Oracle is investing heavily in making sure that their PaaS offerings cover such capabilities, and more are at the cutting edge of modern cloud technology, investing in areas such as AI and data platforms.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:
identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service) Your role You will take a leading role on our complex Oracle Cloud implementations, working with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS components from across the Oracle portfolio in addition to incorporating open-source technologies, cloud-native approaches (APIs, microservices, modern applications) and products from other cloud vendors where suitable and relevant You will operate as a Data Migration Architect for our complex data migration projects, with a particular focus on large scale Oracle SaaS/PaaS/IaaS implementations.
- You will design patterns for complex data integration.
- You will provide pre-Sales support by articulating the architectural significance and benefits of the Oracle PaaS.
- Become a key contributor and advocate of oracle-focused tools and methodology and drive a cloud-native approach in building our technology solutions.
- You will have the opportunity to work with Oracle UK and our wider global Capgemini teams to develop a pipeline of PaaS business as either a standalone initiative or as part of wider Oracle-centric offerings.
- You may also be responsible for communicating an implementation approach and design methodology to an offshore development team as well as leading globally distributed teams.

Requirements
Do you have experience in SaaS?, * Experience and a proven track record of leading and planning large scale data migration projects, along with good knowledge of associated ETL tooling (E.g Oracle Data Integrator)
- In addition, architectural knowledge and understanding across the full Oracle PaaS portfolio, including Oracle Integration Cloud, and Oracle OCI Services (e.g functions, API Gateway, Events, etc).
- Knowledge and experience in the delivery of Oracle SaaS solutions.
- Knowledge and experience of Oracle eBusiness Suite.
- Experience of DevOps and robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and experience with distributed delivery (off-shore/on-shore project delivery)
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
