Senior Cyber Security Architect

A leading digital consultancy is seeking a Senior Security Architect to help shape the secure design of critical digital platforms across government, healthcare, and financial services. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with opportunities to lead, mentor, and innovate.

What You'll Do

• Design and assure secure cloud-native platforms and services
• Identify and mitigate architectural security risks
• Guide Agile teams on secure development practices
• Mentor and manage a small team of security professionals
• Communicate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Stay ahead of emerging threats, tools, and frameworks

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, OWASP, PCI)
• Experience in application, infrastructure, or enterprise architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Continuous Security practices
• Solid understanding of network, web app, and cryptographic security
• Proven ability to coach and develop others
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Eligibility Requirement

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (e.g., lived in the UK for the past 5 years with no significant travel or criminal record).

• Identity and access management (IAM) experience
• Exposure to governance, risk, compliance, and operational security
• Penetration testing certifications (e.g., OSCP, CREST, TIGER)
