  • Opportunity to shape dynamic RPG systems with real creative input.
  • Mentoring for AI NPC design and implementation from pioneering professionals

Requirements

Do you have experience in Unreal Engine?, * A degree in Computer Science/related discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years' experience in C# game development.
  • Experience with Godot (extensive experience in Unity/Unreal is sufficient if proven ability to quickly learn systems).
  • Experience developing and shipping a game in a programming role working in C#.
  • Confident in SOLID architectural principles and in the refactoring of experimental code for long-term maintainability.
  • A creative mind strongly motivated by pride in your work with a keen eye for player experience and polish.
  • A proven problem solving acumen and critical thinking skills with an ability to adapt to unfamiliar technologies.
  • Honesty and transparency regarding your performance, actively engaging in team discussions and collaborating effectively with others on ideas., * Experience working on AI and/or AI in games.
  • Passion for the social simulation RPG genre, having played games like The Sims, Persona or Tokimeki Memorial.
  • Experience with Python or C++, where interacting with our AI infrastructure becomes necessary.
  • Experience with memory management systems.
  • Located in the Newcastle-Upon-Tyne or able to relocate (or commute multiple days a week) once we've set up our new office in February.
