Job description

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be working to identify and implement automation opportunities as part of the wider technical team. You will deliver the technical strategy whilst acting as the escalation point for queries within the Network Team. You will research and evaluate new technologies and solutions, providing recommendations for service improvements.

This role will be joining a business with more than 20 years of success behind them, and they require a Senior Network Engineer to help continue this. This role will be on site in Bradford. Should you wish to discuss flexibility, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Requirements

A Senior Network Engineer is needed to join a well-established and growing ISP in West Yorkshire. In this role, you will design and implement high-performance solutions, lead on technical problem resolution whilst also support junior engineers. Due to the nature of the business, this role will be client-facing so excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential., * In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (e.g. BGP, ISIS or OSPF, MPLS)

  • Hands-on expertise with vendor platforms: Juniper, Cisco, etc.
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to learn new tech quickly and manage your own workload
  • Understanding of network security standards and scripting would be beneficial
