Platform Engineer

Harvey Nash is delighted to be working with our client to recruit a Platform Engineer on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team that partners with global organisations on a range of innovative projects and products.

In this role, the team is aiming to modernise and streamline how they support engineering teams, with a focus on building and maintaining internal developer platforms and tooling, managing and optimising CI/CD pipelines, and designing, implementing, and operating cloud infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, security, and scalability of the platform and associated services, while mentoring engineers and driving the adoption of engineering best practices across the organisation.

I'm looking to speak with candidates who either come from a software engineering background and have transitioned into more DevOps-focused roles, or those who can code in Python or Java (beyond basic scripting) and have experience with AWS and/or Kubernetes.
