Job description

As a Security Engineer you play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies policies and procedures to safeguard Intigritis information assets across corporate IT and the Intigriti platform.

You are apassionate individualwho enjoys buildingdefences againsttodayscyber threats targeting be able toanalyzethe currentthreat environmentandIntigritissecurity posturethen design and implement controls in line withourrisk appetite.

This position requires a strategic thinking technicalexpertise and a deep understanding of cybersecurity will be expected todeploymanageandmaintainpreventive and detective controlsleveragingsecurity tools including EDR SIEMphishing simulation compliance solutions among others.

You will collaborate with colleagues in security and across the organisation including Engineering and Legal teams. If tacklingcomplex security challengesusing tools that make senseexcite you thispositionis for you!

What youll be doing

Infrastructure Security

  • Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of securityacrossIntigritiinfrastructure ensuring the confidentiality integrity and availability of company data.
  • Collaborate with the IT System Administrator to manage and enhance the overall network and system security.

Incident Response and Threat Detection

  • Develop and implement incident response plans to address security incidents promptly and effectively.

  • Work closely with the Threat Detection Engineer tomonitoranalyze and respond to security alerts and threats. Application Security

  • Collaborate with the Application Security Engineer to ensure the security of software applications through secure coding practices regular assessments and vulnerability management.

  • Conduct periodic security assessments of existing applications and systems. Security Awareness and Training

  • Promote a culture of security awareness among all employees through training programs and communication initiatives.

  • Conduct regular security training for staff to enhance their understanding of security risks and best practices. Governance

  • Report onIntigritissecurity posture internally and externally asrequired.

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging threats to inform the development of effective security measures.

  • Support the development implementation and continuous improvementofthe organizations security strategy policies and procedures.

  • Support the maintenance of our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Level 2 certifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of network and system security. Cloud or application security expertise is favoured.
  • Experiencedesigningbuildingand implementing security skills arerequired.
  • Experience in application security-including secure coding practices-andthreat andvulnerability managementaredesirable.
  • Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability toinfluenceand drive security initiatives at both the tactical and strategic levels.
