Job description
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Go.
- Design and build RESTful or gRPC APIs and integrate internal/external services.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or cloud-native data stores.
- Implement concurrency patterns, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and product stakeholders.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and continuous improvements.
- (For senior candidates) Mentor junior developers, lead design discussions, and contribute to architectural decisions.
Requirements
Do you have experience in gRPC?, * Strong programming fundamentals and experience with Golang (Go).
- Hands-on understanding of backend development, APIs, and microservices.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Understanding of distributed systems, messaging queues, or event-driven architectures.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Performance tuning, profiling, and scaling high-traffic systems.
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom (Valid Visa)
