Job description

As a Cyber Security Analyst at Tesco Mobile, you'll play a vital role in protecting our customers' data and ensuring the integrity of our systems. You'll help strengthen security controls across the business and contribute to our core objective: "Protecting Our Customers & Business Is Non-Negotiable." Working in an Agile environment, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver workstreams such as Perimeter, Network, Endpoint, Software, Third-Party Risk, Monitoring, and SOC. This role offers flexibility with hybrid working and opportunities for career growth. You will be responsible for

  • Building and enhancing detection capabilities across our platforms.
  • Developing dashboards for monitoring and compliance using tools like Splunk.
  • Automating integrations between platforms and security tools.
  • Translating requirements into actionable tasks and code.
  • Supporting vulnerability management and incident response processes.
  • Acting on threat intelligence and responding to bug bounty submissions.
  • Collaborating across teams to ensure security is embedded in everything we do.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Terraform?, * A passion for learning and developing new skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with platforms like Splunk and writing queries.
  • Understanding of vulnerability management processes and best practices.
  • Knowledge of networks, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Terraform).
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to innovation and industry standards.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with security tooling and frameworks (e.g., Mitre ATT&CK, NIST).
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable).
  • Awareness of current cyber threats and defensive techniques.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CySA+

  • Annual bonus scheme of up to 45% of base salary
