We are building a wider team to support the organisation with its expansion goals. This role would develop and support best practices within an agile environment, mentor team members, liaise with other departments in the organisation and build relationships with our existing external development partner., The Front End Web Developer role is full-time and fully remote. The Front End Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the user interface of our web applications. This involves collaborating with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to create a seamless and engaging user experience. You will be instrumental in bringing our innovative virtual number platform to life, ensuring it is not only visually appealing but also highly functional, responsive, and performant across various devices and browsers. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools., * Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using Svelte and TypeScript, ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, including product managers and designers.
- Troubleshoot and optimise application performance and address scalability challenges related to the front end.
- Maintain code quality by writing comprehensive unit tests and conducting regular code reviews for front-end components.
- Work with backend systems developed using Golang, Kubernetes, gRPC, and MySQL to integrate front-end applications.
- Contribute to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Cloudflare for smooth front-end deployment processes.
Requirements
Do you have experience in gRPC?, * 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role, developing and deploying front-end applications.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with hands-on experience in building robust web interfaces.
- Advanced front-end development skills, particularly with Svelte, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Flutter is a plus, but not mandatory.
- A solid understanding of cloud services, especially AWS and Cloudflare, as they relate to front-end deployment.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a front-end context.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools for production front-end environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to document processes effectively.
- Understanding of backend technologies such as Golang, Kubernetes, gRPC, protobuf, and MySQL for effective integration.
