Job description
As a Backend Software Engineer you will join an Agile team focussed on building and maintaining Exchange Connectivity software systems that require real-time and low latency, maintaining data feeds and developing key underlying transport protocols for data transmission. The platform has been built with C++ and C# deploying to AWS and requires high scalability and low latency - they currently handle 40 billion messages per day.
Requirements
- You have C / C++ development skills on Windows OS
- You have full software development lifecycle experience
- You have a good knowledge of networking protocols e.g. TCP/IP, multicast
- You have a strong grounding in Computer Science fundamentals e.g. multi-threading, OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
- You're collaborative with great communication skills
- You are UK based and do not require visa sponsorship
