Job description
About the Team We're a cross-functional team focused on driving user adoption and long-term engagement through better onboarding and activation experiences. Or mission is to help users find value quickly and return often through thoughtful design, smart defaults, and personalized product journeys.
We work at the intersection of product growth and user experience, shaping how new users get started and how returning users re-engage. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do whether we're rethinking first-touch experiences or building shared systems that empower other product teams. About the Role We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help design and build the next generation of onboarding and user activation experiences at Miro. This role sits at the core of how users first discover the product and how we guide them toward meaningful outcomes quickly and intuitively.
You'll be part of a team tackling challenges like: how we personalize the product for first-time users, how we introduce new functionality in a non-intrusive way, and how we build flexible systems to scale these experiences across the company. If you're excited by a blend of product thinking, UX, and scalable architecture, this is a great opportunity. What you'll do
- Build user-facing experiences that onboard, educate, and activate new and returning users
- Design flexible, scalable systems to support product-wide onboarding flows
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and data analysts to shape solutions that balance impact and craft
- Contribute to shared tooling and infrastructure that helps other teams create onboarding experiences
- Bring a user-centered mindset to everything you build, from interface decisions to API design
- Participate in architecture and code reviews to ensure quality and foster a culture of engineering excellence
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building full stack applications in a modern product environment
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, with backend experience in Node.js, Java, or Kotlin
- A product-focused approach you care about the end-user experience and business impact
- Experience designing systems that are easy to maintain and evolve over time
- Comfort working in fast-paced, collaborative environments with autonomy
- Bonus: experience with A/B testing, growth engineering, or onboarding flows
- Bonus: a portfolio of polished, user-facing features you've shipped and iterated on
Benefits & conditions
- Competitive equity package
- Health insurance for you and your family
- Corporate pension plan
- Lunch, snacks and drinks provided in the office
- Wellbeing benefit and WFH equipment allowance
- Annual learning and development allowance to grow your skills and career
- Opportunity to work for a globally diverse team
