Job description

We're on the lookout for a talented and driven Senior Software Developer, especially with Flutter mobile development knowledge, to join our growing Tech team in Leeds. You'll play a key role in building and maintaining the software that powers our cutting-edge HealthTech solutions. From integrating with NHS systems to enhancing internal tools, your work will directly impact how healthcare is delivered across the UK.

You'll work with a variety of technologies, including cloud-based middleware, and contribute to embedding our solutions into major third-party platforms such as EPRs, the NHS App, and the NHS Spine.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions.
  • Integrate third-party systems using APIs and cloud middleware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in existing applications.
  • Adapt code to evolving API specifications and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Mentor other developers and promote best practices in coding and architecture.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our agile development processes.
  • Monitor deployed applications for performance and reliability.
  • Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and integration strategies.
  • Work with external users to gather and act upon any feedback given.
  • Collaborate with third-party software suppliers to identify integration points and best practices.

Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, Do you have experience/knowledge with TypeScript?

Have you connected systems together via their APIs?

Do you have experience of designing new integrations?

Are you a team player and find it easy to communicate with a team?, * Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

  • Strong experience with Flutter and mobile development
  • Experience designing and using RESTful APIs and JSON.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Proven experience deploying software into production environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with TypeScript, NetSuite, and Jira.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems or NHS integration.
  • Experience mentoring other developers.
