Job description

AGE UK MILTON KEYNES have an exciting opportunity for someone who is pro-active, caring, enthusiastic, resilient, and interested in AI and how it can be used to better older peoples' lives. The role is part of the Rank Foundation Time to Shine Leadership Program. You will be researching and developing policies, information and guidance on the use of AI for older people and charities alongside developing leadership skills and personal and professional development through the Rank Foundation programme.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Presentation skills?, * Interest in artificial intelligence, digital technology, or applied research.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with older people and professionals.
  • Analytical and curious, able to gather and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage own workload with support.
  • Good written skills for reporting and presenting findings clearly.
  • Use of IT packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Commitment to equality, inclusion, and Age UK Milton Keynes' values.
  • Willingness to learn and work flexibly across different teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience conducting research, consultations, or community engagement.
  • Understanding of AI tools, digital literacy, or technology in social care settings.
  • Experience working with older people, carers, or voluntary sector organisations.
  • Presentation or facilitation experience.
