Network Operations Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity to join Capgemini as a Network Operations Analyst managing a variety of Private & Public sector clients within our vast portfolio. Our Network Operations Centre (NOC) provides technical help at all levels for a multitude of technologies across complex landscapes, providing expertise to deliver a stable, secure, efficient and well managed infrastructure, over the full lifecycle of each solution. Hybrid working : The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

• Network performance monitoring - using application-level traffic monitoring and also low level packet capture to diagnose network issues.
• Network change implementation.
• Generate scripts for automating functions and interfacing systems such as Rest API etc.
• Undertake Project Tasks, liaising with both internal and external Project Managers.
• Continue to strengthen and bolster your existing capabilities through a mix of professional training, certifications, and experiences.
• Produce technical documentation and drawings.

• Track record working with enterprise networks with valid networking technical certifications demonstrating proficiency.
• Experience managing network tools - Riverbed Appresponse & NETIM, Gigamon.
• Experienced with Firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA & AnyConnect Remote Access)
• Troubleshooting and fault-finding routing issues (BGP, OSPF & EIGRP)
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Experience Generating scripts for automating functions and interfacing systems such as Rest API.
• Knowledge of Virtualisation Platforms (VMWare) and containerisation., It is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements. Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
